Have No Regrets

I took the inspiration for this
piece from the sun-shaped hair of the person on the Summerfair
t-shirt. The sun represents the need not to burn the day but to
savor it. Recurring themes in my work are time and how it is
spent. The flying bird reminds us of the freedom of choice we
have each day. The eye in the hand is to remind the viewer to be
true to him or herself. With age comes the hope of wisdom, hence
the wings. I chose to write in French so the viewer can make up
their own mind as to what voice they hear from the artwork.
