Aid to Individual Artists
Grants are available to assist artists in developing or expanding opportunities or activities that will help them further their artwork and their professional lives as artists. Each year, Summerfair awards four grants of $3,000 each to artists living within a 40 mile radius of Cincinnati. Awards are determined through a jury review of materials submitted by interested artists.

Deadline for the 2010 applications is Friday, August 27, 2010. All applications must be postmarked by that date - no exceptions! Winners will be announced at Summerfair's October meeting.

Summerfair Select
Summerfair Select is a triennial event that brings together the four winners from each of the past three years of Summerfair’s Aid to Individual Artists (AIA) grant award. The grant award is the first of it’s kind in Cincinnati and allows the winning artists to use the money in any way they see fit, whether that is purchasing supplies, defraying exhibition expenses, renting studio space or just about anything else that will help them devote more time to their art.
