Since its origins in 1967, Summerfair’s commitment to creating and sponsoring arts experiences in Greater Cincinnati communities has included a variety of programs and events including:
Local presentations of traveling exhibitions including a children’s art exhibit from the Smithsonian and sculptures by J. Seward Johnson
Youth Art Experiences such as “Bridges of Discovery,” in which students were guided by a local architect in designing and building temporary structures from a variety of elements
Special exhibitions of works by local artists such as those created for a temporary sculpture garden at Sawyer Point
Summerfair also provides grants to Greater Cincinnati small arts organizations to support programs designed to increase arts experiences for all members of our community regardless of age, ability, income, or location.
